SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

At FruitBuys Vietnam, we are committed to delivering premium dried fruits and healthy snacks to our global partners efficiently and safely. This policy outlines our shipping methods, timeframes, and terms of transit.

I. Shipping Methods & Services

We offer flexible logistics solutions tailored to your order volume and urgency.

1. Courier Express (Sample & Small Orders)

  • Carriers: DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT.
  • Best for: Samples, trial orders, or urgent high-value shipments (under 100kg).
  • Delivery Type: Door-to-Door.

2. Air Cargo

  • Best for: Commercial orders (100kg – 1,000kg) needing fast replenishment.
  • Delivery Type: Airport-to-Airport (DAP available upon request).

3. Sea Freight (LCL & FCL)

  • Best for: Large wholesale orders, OEM, and bulk shipments.
  • Delivery Type: Port-to-Port (CIF/FOB) or Door-to-Door (DDP – subject to destination).

II. Processing & Delivery Timeframes

Please note that “Delivery Time” consists of Processing Time (preparation) + Transit Time (shipping).

  • Note: Processing time may be longer for OEM/Private Label orders or during peak harvest seasons. We will confirm the exact schedule in your Proforma Invoice.

III. Shipping Rates & Incoterms

Shipping costs are calculated based on the chargeable weight (actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher) and the destination.

1. International Commercial Terms (Incoterms 2020)

Unless otherwise agreed in a Sales Contract, our standard terms are:

  • EXW (Ex Works): Buyer arranges pickup at FruitBuys warehouse.
  • FOB (Free on Board): We handle Vietnam customs and load goods onto the vessel. Buyer pays ocean freight.
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): We cover shipping and insurance to your destination port. Buyer handles import customs and duties.
  • DAP (Delivered at Place): We deliver to your address. Buyer is responsible for Import Duties & Taxes.

2. Import Duties & Taxes

Important: International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country.

  • The recipient (Buyer) is the importer of record and is responsible for all such fees.
  • FruitBuys Vietnam has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

IV. Tracking & Documentation

Once your order is dispatched, we will provide:

  1. Tracking Number (for Courier) or Bill of Lading (B/L) number (for Sea Freight).
  2. Commercial Invoice & Packing List.
  3. Certificate of Origin (C/O) and Phytosanitary Certificate (if required for customs clearance).

V. Inspection & Claims (Damage/Loss)

To ensure your rights, please follow this procedure upon receiving goods:

  1. Inspect Immediately: Check the external condition of boxes/containers before signing the delivery receipt.
  2. Report Issues: If you notice visible damage, shortage, or signs of tampering:
  • Note it directly on the carrier’s delivery sheet (Proof of Delivery).
  • Take clear photos/videos of the damaged packaging and products.
  • Notify FruitBuys Vietnam within 3 business days of receipt.
  1. Resolution: We insure our shipments. If damage occurs during transit (under CIF/DIP terms), we will work with the insurance company to claim compensation or arrange a replacement for you.
  • Failure to report within 3 days implies the shipment was received in good condition.

VI. Force Majeure

FruitBuys Vietnam is not liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (typhoons, earthquakes).
  • Pandemics, quarantine restrictions, or port congestion.
  • War, strikes, or civil unrest.
  • Customs delays at the destination country.

In such events, we will notify you immediately and work to find the best alternative solution.
